Day 31 – Day of Rest

I’ m nestled metformin hcl 850 on the couch…happily relaxing after being gone for the weekend.  I’ve got my charmeuse pajamas on and am watching the documentary “Grey Gardens” on Netflix’s Watch Instantly option, feeling slightly mad.

First of all, I didn’t know there was an HBO adaptation of the Bouvier Beale women up for Golden Globes tonight, so to find real-time award coverage when I did a search for a description of the 1975 documentary was a little discombobulating.  Congratulations to the winners.  Second, I’m tired and am trying to put my week into perspective with many, many challenges on the docket.  Proposals, graphic design projects, and throwing a spaghetti dinner for 100 are three of my top concerns in the next five days after which I plan to be gone for another weekend.  Phew.  Third, I put a nighttime emollient on my hands to fight the dryness of winter…and then gave Grendel a good, absent-minded rubdown.  My hands now look like Q-Tips.

I don’t have anything terribly pertinent to say with regard to the 15 D0wn, 150 To Go topic other than that I’m extremely thankful for my increasingly stellar psychological well-being and may develop a Grey Gardens Diet, should this current endeavor become too lackluster.  Ice cream, Bacardi, and cat food, anyone?

Oddballs of the world unite.

You know, I accidentally started watching the Grey Gardens documentary first, thinking it was the HBO show. Now I’m actually glad I did, because it showed me how good Drew Barrymore was in this movie. She sounds and moves exactly like little Edie! I think you would love the HBO movie. I did.

I’m so excited it’s her! I was wondering which one you were referring to on Twitter…only after I found out there were two versions. :) I’m gonna have to get on that.
