Kantorei Chamber Choir at St. Paul Seminary

I spent metformin hcl 1000 mg side effects the afternoon at a choral concert.  It was late afternoon, really.  That distinction is important to make as late afternoon is when the sun is setting and it pours through stained glass windows…across the people in the pews.  Across the performers.  Across the aisle. And to the people in the other half of the pews.

In the Chapel of St. Mary on the St. Paul Seminary campus this afternoon, the sun touched us as we were surrounded by the music of Kantorei Chamber Choir.

My favorite time of day to spend in a church is during the setting of the sun.  My favorite architectural element in the world is a clerestory.  My favorite song to sing is “Pilgrims’ Hymn” by Stephen Paulus.

Today, as I sat beneath the clerestory in the setting sun, I read the program and my breath caught.  As the concert moved from piece to piece, I waited impatiently.  Then, they sang the Paulus piece.  I allowed a tear to slip.

PILGRIMS’ HYMN

Even before we call on Your name

To ask You, O God,
When we metformin hcl dosage seek for the words to glorify You,
You hear our prayer;
Unceasing love, O unceasing love,
Surpassing all we know.

Glory to the father,
and to the Son,
And to the Holy Spirit.

Even with darkness sealing us in,
We breathe Your name,
And through all the days that follow so fast,
We trust in You;
Endless Your grace, O endless Your grace,
Beyond all mortal dream.

Both now and forever,
And unto ages and ages,
Amen
