Sometimes

Sometimes you’ re the metformin hydrochloride tablets Auntie who blindly takes the clandestine pictures of the nephew who’s waving his arms in the wind…that is streaming through the open window as you’re racing down a rural road near Stillwater.  Sometimes you check the footage once you’ve come to a complete stop and realize that you got some good shots.  Shots that shouldn’t exist.  Photos that he didn’t know were taken.  Evidence of a few magic moments during a special afternoon when he got to go on a roadtrip with Auntie.  The afternoon he toured the caves beneath the old brewery.  The afternoon he was allowed to wade into the St. Croix River, as long as he held onto the chain fence.  The afternoon he taught his 33-year old aunt how to play chess in an antique bookstore.  The afternoon he got to get a red lollipop the size of his face…as long as he also got one for his sister.  The afternoon he ate a Strawberry Cheesequake Blizzard at the DQ in Osceola, Wisconsin.  The afternoon before he went to visit his grandparents in Michigan…when he said that since we were already in Wisconsin (1 hour), we may as well go the rest of the way (11 hours).

That afternoon.

Sometimes you have one of your favorite afternoons ever.
